In this course, the author will show you his own method of simulating light emission in After Effects. You will learn how to convert any text, graphics or animation into a neon light to build a completely customized glow effect. We will also introduce many techniques and tricks for animating shape layers, using pre-compositing to generate procedurally generated effects, a simple expression platform for color management, and more! Once you understand how to simulate lighting, you can add extra realism to any design or animation. This course is designed for artists with After Effects experience, but it is not required. As with all my courses, even if you have never used the software before, you can learn about my videos step by step.
